As with much of our work, our approach to appliances comes from a different era - a time when every appliance, no matter how basic and functional, was an opportunity to embellish with decorative flourishes. Much of our inspiration in design comes from looking at old Victorian cast iron furnishings, where even something like a radiator or machine base was decorated from top to bottom with flowers, scrolls, faces, and shells. We combine that appreciation for ornament and design with our love of professional French-style cookery in our appliance offerings.
