The Art of Kitchen Ventilation

CLP Design was founded in 2006 after being commisioned by two separate clients to design custom range hoods based on the patterns of embossed architectural metal. At the time, there was a trend sweeping the industry towards extreme customization and vast color choices. We helped pioneer the redefinition of the range hood as a kitchen accent piece with our classical ornate patterns and hand-painted finishes.

Recognizing the need for a moderately-priced hood with the look of a $10,000 custom stainless range hood, we introduced our Production Series in spring 2008. These hoods have the same look and construction as our custom hoods, but retail for half the price. On the other hand, our experience with slip-casting and working with soft metals now allows us to build highly custom zinc, pewter, bronze, and copper range hoods. All of our hoods are outfitted with professional-quality ventilation systems and guaranteed for life.
